  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in legal practice or in law
  • Already have a first relevant experience in a similar position
  • You know how to combine administrative tasks with legal insights into contract law, law of obligations and liability or company law
  • You are independent, proactive, inquisitive and motivated
  • Always finds the right balance between legal correctness and a pragmatic approach
  • You are highly communicative and a team player
  • You are efficient, meticulous, structured and motivated
  • Are stress-resistant and work at a high pace
  • Have a good command of languages (good knowledge of French and/or English is a big plus)

You grab a cup of coffee and…

  • You ask yourself how you can best support the Legal Counsel and LIFE today
  • You work closely with the other departments of LIFE such as Finance, Development and HR as well as external contacts such as notaries, lawyers, banks and partners
  • You will prepare (simple) legal documents and agreements using templates such as rental agreements, notices of default, etc
  • You perform corporate housekeeping actions for the various companies within the group (including publications in the Belgian Official Gazette, taking minutes of the board of directors and/or general meeting, opening bank accounts at incorporation, etc.)
  • You maintain contacts with the notaries in view of the signing of notarial deeds
  • You are in close contact with the insurance broker within the framework of the management of claims and policies (fire policies, ABR policies, etc.)
  • You register the lease contracts
  • You follow up the legal correspondence
  • You are responsible for the administrative follow-up of legal documents and agreements (follow-up of signatures of all parties, follow-up of receipt of signed documents, reminders, scanning, filing, etc.)
  • You manage databases (digitising, archiving and management of original documents)
  • You follow up the UBO declarations for the banks, notaries, lawyers and keep the UBO register at the FPS Finance up to date
  • You report to the Legal Counsel and the CFO
